Text Box: There are corrals for your horses* with a small stable and tack room.  Plenty of parking space is available for ATVs, trailers, etc.    

 

Text Box: *Bring your own horses, ATVs, bicycles or other toys – or talk with us in advance and we’ll make every effort to make rental horses or ATVs available for your use.  We have professional outfitters and guides close by that will schedule day rides or even multiple day horseback excursions on Grand Mesa.  Call your hosts for more information.

 

Text Box: Other pets are welcome too!  There is plenty of room to run and roam.  There is a fence around the YURT and corral area to secure you pets.  Just remember if you don't close the gate, the neighbor ranchers have livestock and lots wildlife live here too.  Don’t let your pets bother the neighbors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Text Box: Even though The YURT at Screwball Ranch is only 15 minutes away from Cedaredge, Colorado and access to the property is via paved road – the road into the YURT (about one mile) is steep in places and can be difficult in winter weather.  While not needed all the time, 4-wheel drive is recommended for access during the winter months. If you don't have four-wheel drive, don't worry, your hosts can arrange a loaner for YURT access. There is no problem driving a normal passenger car to the YURT during the summer months.
